FAMU DRS recieved the Enhancing Education Through Technology Grant for the 2008-2009 school year.The grant created Kindergarden through sixth grade classes technology-rich environments. Teachers in third thru sixth grade were given a teacher laptop and each class was outfitted with a document camera, wireless writing pad, and a laptop cart. The grant will also provide a variety of one-to-one technology mentoring opportunities and professional development for teachers involved in the project. | |
